DANVILLE, KY—Several Centre coaches are leading sports camps this summer on campus including softball, volleyball, girls basketball, girls soccer and boys soccer.
The youth softball clinic will be held at Jackson Park and Trumbo Field on June 15 and 16. The schedule will include instruction in pitching, hitting, bunting, slapping and will end with a scrimmage. For more information call Wendie Austin 238-8756.
The volleyball camp will be June 18-22 for 10-18 year olds. This camp will be tailored from beginning players to more advanced players. Stephanie Dragan can be reached at 238-5475 for further details.
Girl's basketball camp will be held June 25-29 and will be led by Jennifer Ruff. Girls will receive special on-court instruction to help enhance fundamental skills. For registration information call 238-8753.
Gina Nicoletti will lead the girl's soccer camp that will be held on July 1-6. Groups will be divided into junior and senior divisions, depending on their skill levels. Nicoletti can be reached at 238-5253 for camp information.
The boy's soccer camp will be held July 8-13 and led by Brian Chafin. This is the eleventh year for the soccer camp. This camp will accommodate beginning players to the more advanced players. For information call 238-5493.
Centre offers nine intercollegiate sports for men and 10 for women, competing in the NCAA's Division III as a member of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, a top league recognized for academic and athletic excellence.
