Women's Sports Day held at Centre College RELEASED: Mar. 26, 2001 DANVILLE, KY - The sixth annual Women's Sports Day Celebration was held March 25 on Centre College's campus. Forty-seven girls ages 6 – 13 had a fun afternoon of working on a variety of sports skills and finished up with a team competition. Centre sponsors Women's Sports Day each year as part of a national celebration aimed at encouraging girls to get interested in sports.
