DANVILLE, KY—Prospective college students will have a chance to learn more about various aspects of collegiate life Aug. 10 when Centre College hosts the "College Search Summer Workshop."
The program is designed to provide helpful information about the college search to high school juniors and seniors and their families.
In addition to the admissions staff of Centre, admission representatives from Vanderbilt University and the University of Kentucky will also be leading discussions and answering questions.
Topics that will be covered that day will include: How to begin a college search, making the most of an interview, what questions to ask, writing a strong essay, and financial aids and scholarships.
A tour and information session about Centre will also be offered.
The workshop will conclude with a panel discussion composed of current college students, parents and admission representatives.
