DANVILLE, KY—Anyone passing by Old Centre Saturday, July 7, probably did a double take and wondered if they stepped onto the set of Jurassic Park III.

A cast replica of a Tyrannosaurus Rex was constructed on the lawn in front of Old Centre on the College campus that day.

The dinosaur was put together by Danville resident Dr. John Hankla, who owns the piece. The replica is of a Tyrannosaurus Rex that was found in South Dakota in 1987.

Hankla's replica is expected to make more stops at various locations before finding a home at the Indianapolis Children's Museum in 2004.
