New Web page to keep alumni in the know

RELEASED: Nov. 21, 2002

DANVILLE, KY—Want to re-connect with old Centre friends? Want to meet other Centre alumni? Want to keep up with what's happening at your alma mater?

If so, then join Centre's new alumni on-line community called CentreNet. CentreNet was recently launched by Centre's alumni office. It's a free service, and alumni of the College can register at http://www.alumniconnections.com/centre/.

CentreNet offers the following services: on-line directory, permanent e-mail and message boards. All of this information is password protected. Through the on-line directory, Centre alumni can easily obtain contact information and keep in touch with other alumni. The permanent e-mail feature allows alumni to set up an e-mail address through the site (the domain is @alumni.centre.edu) that will not change.

"CentreNet provides our alumni with a useful service and offers a convenient way to stay connected to one another and to the College," said Jamey Elliott, Centre's associate director of alumni and a member of the class of '96. "It's easy to register and to use and, speaking as an alum, it's nice to quickly be able to find the information I need to contact my Centre friends."

More than 700 alumni have already registered to take advantage of these services.

For any questions or comments on CentreNet, e-mail the alumni office at feedback@alumniconnections.com.
