DANVILLE, KY-Several Centre College coaches will lead sports camps throughout the summer. Boys and girls basketball, boys and girls soccer, and volleyball will be offered.
The boy's basketball day camp will be June 10-14. It's led by Centre head men's basketball coach Greg Mason. The camp is for ages 6-12. Basic skills will be taught in a fun environment. To register, call Mason at 238-5491.
The girl's basketball day camp will be held June 24-28. Led by Centre head women's basketball coach Jennifer Ruff, girls will receive special on-court instruction to help enhance fundamental skills. For registration information, call Ruff at 238-8753.
The boy's soccer camp will be held July 7-12 and led by Brian Chafin, athletic director at Centre and former men's soccer coach. This is the 12th year for the soccer camp. It will accommodate beginning players to the more advanced players. For information, call Chafin at 238-5485.
Centre women's soccer coach Gina Nicoletti will lead the girl's soccer camp that will be held June 30-July 5. Groups will be divided into junior and senior divisions, depending on their skill levels. Nicoletti can be reached at 238-5253 for camp information.
The volleyball camp will be June 17-21 for 10-18 year olds. This camp will be tailored from beginning players to more advanced players. Stephanie Dragan, volleyball coach at Centre, can be reached at 238-5475 for further details.
Centre offers nine intercollegiate sports for men and 10 for women, competing in the NCAA's Division III as a member of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, a top league recognized for academic and athletic excellence.
