Dream Feast: students pick their most-desired dishes

RELEASED: Nov. 27, 2002

DANVILLE, KY—With Thanksgiving upon us, many Centre College students prepare to visit their families, begin buying Christmas presents and, of course, will enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving dinner.

Freshman Tasha Pedigo asked Centre students what they hope to have on their dinner table this Thanksgiving. Seems students have a taste for the traditional to the not-so-traditional on Turkey Day.

"I would have Ravioli because Italian food is so much better than any food in the world," — Craig Dunworth, Freshman

"Turkey, just because it's so traditional," — Melissa Deaton, Junior

"Roast duck. I know no one else has said anything near that strange, but I like duck. It's my favorite meat, although it's really terrible for you!" — Winston Thompson, Freshman

"Stuffing and gravy are always good. They're always going to be favorites of mine," — Lisa Fryman, Sophomore

"I always enjoy the cranberry sauce. It just seems to go really well with all the other dishes that are being served." — Erin Matthews, Freshman
