What are you reading outside the classroom? "Right now I'm going through graduate school applications for fun (and for necessity). I've been trying to read Possessions by A.S. Byatt for quite awhile, but have been distracted by the books I'm reading in a children's literature [class]."

What are your plans for the holidays? "For Christmas I'll be returning to Henderson, where my family will gather at my grandmother's house. During the break, I'll be completing graduate-school applications."

Future plans: "Two weeks after graduation, I'm getting married on the steps of Old Centre to Robert Lidowski. Two weeks after that, Robert and I will be moving to his first assignment with the Air Force. Right now, we're requesting Dayton, Ohio, so that we can both attend graduate school. After obtaining a master's in American literature, I'd like to work in the publishing industry."
