DANVILLE, KY-Adam Johnson has joined the office of development and alumni affairs at Centre College as assistant director of annual giving.

Johnson will lead Centre's efforts to involve its young alumni more actively in the College and its annual giving program through The Young Alumni Campaign and The Senior Campaign. Jessica Coleman, a 1997 graduate of the College and four-year veteran of its development staff, previously served as the assistant director of annual giving. She has been Centre's director of annual giving since Sept. 1.

"I'm excited about the new job and accepted this position as a great opportunity to give back to the College," Johnson said.

Johnson received a degree in history from Centre in 1997. He formerly worked as the assistant track and cross country coach at Davidson College.

Johnson is the son of Dr. and Mrs. James M. Johnson of Washingtonville, N.Y.
