Students complete exciting three-week term
RELEASED: Jan. 31, 2002
DANVILLE, KY-Centre College students took part in internships, studied overseas in tropical climates, self-designed courses, took courses offered by visiting professors, and even had a class led by Centre President John Roush. And they did this in just three weeks.
These opportunities were presented to students as a part of CentreTerm, an intensive, innovative winter term session. This was the first CentreTerm offered at the school.
Centre's yearly calendar is based on a "4-1-4" pattern. Typically, students take four courses each in the 13-week fall and spring terms and one course in the CentreTerm.
The CentreTerm took place Jan. 7-28. The students are now on winter break and will resume classes Feb. 6.
To learn more about CentreTerm, call Centre's Admission Office at (800) 423-6236 or e-mail the office at admission@centre.edu.
