Twyla Tharp Dance coming to Norton Center

DANVILLE, KY-Twyla Tharp Dance, an innovative dance company, will appear at Centre College's Norton Center for the Arts on Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 8 p.m. in Newlin Hall.

In 2000, the legendary modern dancer Twyla Tharp founded her own dance company. One of the few companies headed by a woman, Twyla Tharp Company is one of the most imaginative. The Norton Center is honored to be included in the first national tour of this innovative new company.

The evening concludes with a post-performance discussion with Twyla Tharp herself.

The Norton Center for the Arts is a regional performing arts center, which annually brings to Centre College a series of important musical groups, Broadway shows, individual performances and other works from the performing arts.
