DANVILLE, KY—The London City Opera will perform Madame Butterfly, Puccini's classic opera, at Centre College's Norton Center for the Arts on Jan. 22 at 8 p.m.

In March of 1998 the London City Opera made its European debut with an extensive tour of France and Switzerland. Since then it has established itself as the market leader of high quality touring opera throughout Europe and North America. The company has performed such classic audience pleasers as Carmen and HMS Pinafore.
The College's Norton Center for the Arts is a regional performing arts center, which annually brings to Centre a series of important musical groups, Broadway shows, individual performances and other works from the performing arts.
