| Stayin' Alive at Centre: Saturday Night Fever comes to campus RELEASED: Nov. 6, 2003
DANVILLE, KYYou'd better bring your dancing shoes and be prepared to boogie when Saturday Night Fever visits Centre's Norton Center for the Arts at 8 p.m. on Nov. 13 in Newlin Hall. For tickets or season subscriptions, visit or call the Norton Center box office (859) 236-4692 or 1-877-HIT-SHOW (448-7469). Inspired by the phenomenally successful 1977 film, the musical features songs by the legendary Bee Gees. Saturday Night Fever is the streetwise New York City tale of an ambitious Brooklyn kid with a burning desire to make it big in Manhattan. Filled with hit songs that helped launch the 1970's disco-dancing craze, the theatrical version took London and New York by storm. The College's Norton Center for the Arts is an internationally acclaimed performing arts center that annually brings to Centre a series of acclaimed musical groups, Broadway shows, individual performances and other works from the performing arts. A complete series schedule and subscription information are available upon request.
