Senior has article in Liberal Education

RELEASED: Dec. 4, 2003

DANVILLE, KY—Centre senior Nate Olson is the first student in more than a decade to have a feature article in Liberal Education magazine.

Olson's submission, "The Global 'Liberation' of Liberal Learning," appeared in the fall issue of the publication. Liberal Education features the writings of educators, faculty and administrators in colleges and universities nationwide who are working to enrich liberal learning and undergraduate education.

Olson, a double-major in government and economics, is only the second student ever to have a submission published in the magazine. His article focused on how his interaction with Centre's faculty and chance to study abroad through the College's international program has helped shape him and his view of the world.
