Philadelphia Orchestra coming to Norton Center

DANVILLE, KY—The Philadelphia Orchestra, one of the most distinguished orchestras in the world, will appear at Centre College's Norton Center for the Arts on May 13 at 7 p.m.

Led by music director Wolfgang Sawallisch since 1993, the Philadelphia Orchestra is one of the leading orchestras in the world with a century of acclaimed performances, historic international tours and best-selling records. The orchestra touches the lives of more than a million music lovers each year through its live performances, publications, recordings, and broadcasts.

The College's Norton Center for the Arts is an internationally acclaimed performing arts center that annually brings to Centre a series of acclaimed musical groups, Broadway shows, individual performances and other works from the performing arts.
