Graduate writing column for ESPN

DANVILLE, KY—Laura Boswell '94 compares "rock gods" and "jock gods" in a hilarious piece she recently penned for ESPN's Web site as part of the sports network's series examining the relationship between sports and music.

The English major, a writer and actor, lives in Arlington, Va. She previously worked for USA Today.

During her time at Centre, Boswell was a member of College's student newspaper staff, The Cento, and she was a standout volleyball player. Boswell was named the 1994 NCAA Kentucky Woman of the Year.
