Consumers Digest lists Centre as 10th Best Value

RELEASED: July 22, 2004

DANVILLE, KY—Centre is ranked No. 10 in Consumers Digest’s “Top 25 Best Values for Private Colleges and Universities.” The national magazine provides consumers with product reviews and best-buy ratings.

Consumers Digest chose Centre from a list of 132 private schools evaluated on academic excellence. No other private Kentucky institution is ranked in this listing. The final rankings were determined by a formula that used a variety of factors, including standardized test scores, high school rank and grade-point average of entering freshmen, student-to-faculty ratio, graduation rate, percentage of faculty holding terminal degrees, tuition, required fees, room and board, and estimated costs.
