Alumnus honored on CBS Early Show
RELEASED: Oct. 14, 2004
As part of a segment in which CBS Early Show anchors honored their favorite teachers, Drake was singled out by Hanna Storm on the program last week. Drake was Storm's history teacher at the Westminster Schools in Atlanta. Storm sat in one of her former teacher's classes at the high school where he still works. "It was good to see after 37 years in the classroom that Mr. Drake is still bonding with his students," she said. As a student at Centre, Drake was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa (a leadership organization), Phi Alpha Theta (a history honor society) and the football team. He has a law degree from Emory University.
