DANVILLE, KY—The first of the College's 223 athletes return to campus this Friday. Centre will have 98 football players begin practice this weekend.
Men's soccer will have 37 players returning on Aug. 18, and volleyball expects 17 players on Aug. 20.
The remaining fall athletes will return on Aug. 22. Coaches expect 30 cross-country runners, 22 women's soccer players and 18 field hockey players.
You can catch Centre's fall sports teams in action at home in September: men's soccer—Sept. 1 (Hanover, 3 p.m.); field hockey—Sept. 4 (Kenyon, 4 p.m.); cross country—Sept. 11 (Centre Invitational); football—Sept. 11 (Kenyon, 1:30 p.m.); volleyball—Sept. 18 (Brescia, 1 p.m.); and women's soccer—Sept. 18 (Wilmington, 2 p.m.).
