Homecoming was a weekend to remember

RELEASED: Oct. 28, 2004

DANVILLE, KY—Centre alumni, students, faculty and staff were in great spirits last weekend as they joined in Centre's homecoming festivities.

The alumni were basking in the glow of having recently regained the No. 1 spot in the nation in annual alumni-giving percentage.

Centre would like to thank all those who visited campus and helped make Homecoming 2004 a special event.

"We're always glad to have our alumni back for Homecoming," says Jacky Thomas '02, associate director of alumni affairs. "It's truly a special time on our campus, and we're thankful to everyone who has helped make this Centre tradition a continuing success. Homecoming is a time to visit faculty members, rekindle friendships and experience the beginning of the fall season on our beautiful campus. In other words, it's an opportunity for our alumni to 'come home.' "
