DANVILLE, KY—Amy Dedman '04 and Emma Rankin '03 have joined Centre as admission counselors.

Dedman received a degree in biology and Rankin received an English degree from Centre. Dedman of Harrodsburg, Ky., got her start working in admission as a Colonel Corps admission tour guide as a student. She'll serve as advisor to the tour guides as part of her new position. Dedman will also visit high schools and college fairs as well as recruit and interview students from her various territories, which include eastern Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, South Carolina, Florida and Alabama.

"I look forward to meeting students and taking this opportunity to give back to Centre and help recruit students so they can experience all that I have," Dedman says.

In addition to Colonel Corps, Dedman was also a member of the student judiciary, the student representative for the student life committee, co-president of Omicron Delta Kappa (a student leadership organization), and president of Delta Delta Delta sorority.

She is the daughter of Nick and Elaine Dedman of Harrodsburg.

Rankin, of Fort Mitchell, Ky., just completed a year teaching in the Beechwood (Ky.) Independent and Erlanger-Elsmere Independent school systems. Rankin will visit high schools and college fairs, and recruit and interview prospective students. Her territories will include half of western Kentucky, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois and Iowa.

"I had a positive experience at Centre, and I'm excited about working at a place I feel so strongly about," Rankin says.

Rankin was a member of the Colonel Corps as a student. She also ran cross- country all four years she was a student and was a member of Centre Christian Fellowship and Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.
