The senior music major from Louisville, Ky., is studying at Queen's University Belfast through Centre's international study program. Wicke recently came upon a salsa-dancing club near her Queen's residence hall. She quickly recruited her roommate (Sandy, who is from France) and her next-door neighbors (who are from Finland) to join her there each Friday night.
Salsa dancing is just one of the things that's surprised Wicke about Belfast, where she says there's a "strong international flavor."
Wicke has enjoyed seeing the "beautiful green Irish landscape," the Belfast Zoo and the historic castles and learning about the country's legends and rich history.
