Lexington Herald-Leader features Centre transfer from New Orleans

DANVILLE, KY—Megan Tribble, who transferred to Centre College when her New Orleans education was abruptly interrupted by Hurricane Katrina, was the subject of a feature story in the Lexington Herald-Leader on Wednesday, Sept. 7.

Tribble, a native of Atlanta and a student at Loyola University, is one of three students from New Orleans institutions to enroll at Centre for the fall semester. Also at Centre are Catherine Allen of Lexington, Ky. and "Gulu" Saiyed of Louisville, both students at Tulane University.

The College has made an offer of free tuition this semester for any student displaced by the hurricane.
