DANVILLE, KY—The winner of Centre College’s Coolest Picture of Summer contest will be announced Sept. 15. Entries will be accepted until 5 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 14.
The Communications Office has received a number of great shots, but last-minute entries will be welcomed and judged on their merits.
The contestant who conveys the true essence of summer with the greatest visual impact will receive a $50 bookstore gift certificate. New, incoming and transfer students are encouraged to submit photos.
Send your digital pictures via e-mail or campus mail to Cindy Long long@centre.edu. Be sure to identify everyone in the picture and include a brief description of what’s happening. The higher the resolution, the better. Make sure your pictures are at least 300 dpi.
Top selections will be shown as photos of the week, and all pictures will be entered in The Photo of the Year Contest for a free digital camera later in the year.
