"We're very pleased to see significant increases in the numbers of students from outside the Commonwealth," Thompson says. "It demonstrates that Centre's mark on the national landscape is growing by leaps and bounds." While most applicants come from Kentucky, Centre is attracting more students from Tennessee, Ohio, Texas, Georgia and Florida, as well as a number of international applicants. "This coming fall we're projecting a total enrollment of approximately 1,090 and anticipate 310 new freshmen on campus," Thompson says.
