Musicians present annual showcase concert

DANVILLE, KY—The Centre College Music Program will present its annual Fall Musicians Showcase concert on Oct. 31 at 7:30 p.m. in the Audrey R. Gillespie Recital Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

The concert will feature eleven student musicians performing works by Bach, Haydn, Mozart and others.

Student performers include: Shannon Bailey (voice), David Brokaw (guitar), Caroline Buchanan (flute), Dan Burkey (voice), Brandon Floyd (trumpet), Monica Foster (voice), Stephanie Jernigan (violin), Katy Justiss (viola), Catherine Naiser (voice), Amy Raghuraman (flute), and Wes Young (trumpet). Music faculty members AdrianaLia Moutz and Elizabeth Wolfe will accompany several of the pieces on piano.

Laurence Bitensky, Associate Professor of Music, says, "The annual Musicians Showcase is a wonderful opportunity for students to share their wealth and variety of talents with the Centre and Danville communities."
