Goal! Centre hosts summer athletic camps

DANVILLE, KY—This summer, Centre College athletic teams and coaches will host instructional camps for boys and girls' basketball, field hockey, swimming and boys and girl' soccer.

The 16th annual boys' soccer camp will run from July 3-8 and is open to all players ages 10-18. Both residential and commuter campers are welcome.

The 8th annual girls' soccer camp will run from June 26-July 1 and is open to all players ages 10-18.

The youth development soccer camp, which is in its inaugural year, is intended to develop the skills of younger players. The co-ed camp and is open to grades 1-4 and will run from June 1-20. Campers in the 1st and 2nd grades will attend camp Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Players in the 3rd and 4th grades will attend camp Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6:45-8 p.m.

For the second year, the Centre swimming team will host a camp in Boles Natatorium from June 19-24. The camp is designed for upper-level recreational to competitive swimmers.

Field hockey camp, which runs from June 19-22, is open to girls in middle and high school.

The boys' basketball day camp is open to grades 1-8 and runs from June 6-9 and July 18-21. Campers will be able to enjoy the recently renovated Sutcliffe Hall complex, including the brand-new three-court basketball facility. The girls' basketball day camp will take the court from June 13-16.
