DANVILLE, KY—The Centre Internship Plus committee recently met and awarded 14 students Centre Internship Plus funding for their summer internships. In this extremely competitive process, these students were chosen to receive up to $1,500 each for their extraordinary internships across the country and around the world.
"The Centre Internship Plus program, which provides matching grants for selected internships, is a great way to help Centre students afford some top-notch internships they might not otherwise be able to complete," says Deborah Jones, director of career services. "The application pool for the summer of 2006 was the best thus far, both in materials submitted and the internships the students received."
