Adam Taylor Brown named Communications Fellow

DANVILLE, KYAdam Taylor Brown '07 has joined the Centre College Communications Office as communications fellow.

In this position, Brown will assist with research and writing for web stories and other publications, with media inquiries, and with special projects and events, including My CENTRE Life (a series of six online journals kept by Centre students during their freshman year).

Brown, originally from Bowling Green, Ky., graduated from Centre with a double major in dramatic arts and anthropology/sociology. He was awarded the 2007 West T. Hill Dramatic Arts prize, presented annually to the senior who makes the greatest contribution to the theatre department during his or her four years at Centre. Brown also served as a resident advisor and the president of Centre’s student theatre production company, Centre Players.

In the spring of 2006, Brown spent six months abroad in London where he studied new media in theatre.

Mike Norris, director of communications, said of Brown’s appointment, "Adam is a welcome addition to our staff. In the short time he's been with us, he's shown himself to be a quick study and is already making valuable contributions to our efforts."

Brown is the son of Phillip Brown and Sydnie Carroll of Bowling Green.
