Coolest Picture of the Summer: We have a winner!

DANVILLE, KY—The winner of Centre's Coolest Picture of Summer contest is...drum roll please... Catherine Naiser '08.

There were a number of excellent submissions, but the winner, in a unanimous vote among the Communications Office staff, was the shot submitted by Naiser of herself, Lillian Tuttle '08 and Christanna Schuman '08 visiting Mount Rushmore on a west-bound road trip this summer. (It will be especially appropriate--and perhaps prophetic--if the College hosts a presidential debate in 2008.) The three also visited Grinnell Glacier in the heart of Glacier National Park after a day-long hike through the Rockies.

Naiser will receive an iPod Shuffle. Top selections from the Coolest Picture of the Summer contest will be shown as photos of the week (some already have been). All submitted pictures will be in the running for a free digital camera in the Photo of the Year contest.
