Local café celebrates Centre with new menu items

RELEASED: September 6, 2007

DANVILLE, KYJust in time for the start of the new academic year, The Hub Coffee House in Danville has introduced two new menu items to celebrate Centre's long-standing reputation as one of the top-50 liberal arts colleges in the nation: The Centre Supreme and the C6-H0.

For coffee aficionados with a fondness for late nights, the 20-ounce Centre Supreme—with four shots of espresso with orange and Ghirardelli coco and whipped cream —will be just the thing to keep a student going while putting the finishing touches on a term paper at 2 a.m.

And of course, all that studying will work up quite an appetite for the C6-H0 sandwich, which honors Centre's 1921 victory over Harvard in the one of the greatest college football upsets in sports history. The 12" grilled sub is filled with grilled chicken strips, hot wing sauce, red onions and cheddar.

Prospective students will be treated to two dollars off either The Centre Supreme or the C6-H0 when they schedule a campus visit with the admissions office.
