Season Three of My CENTRE Life kicks off

RELEASED: September 20, 2007

DANVILLE, KYThe third season of My CENTRE Life is live! Join six Centre students as they experience their first year of college. Whether readers are curious about college life at a liberal arts school, interested in a different perspective on Centre or looking for an opportunity to reminisce about past college days, My CENTRE Life has something for everyone.

Join Rachel for a long run through Centre's campus. Volunteer with Gary and then wind down over a quick pick-up game of soccer. Brush up on "rhymin' stylin'" with Chrys, an up-and-coming Christian rapper. Relax on a horseback ride with Mariel, one of Centre's newest equestrians. Enjoy Sam's rousing renditions of classic Broadway show tunes. Then kick back in a hammock on a cool autumn day and study with Maureen.

The cast is excited, to say the least, and has glowing things to say about this year's season. Maureen proclaims, "Nothing's better than this year's MCL. It's going to keep everyone guessing, and the fun and excitement will last all year!"

Sam describes My CENTRE Life as "a spectacular view into the world of student life at Centre College." For Rachel, "it makes Centre seem even more like home." Avoiding any hint of understatement, Chrys calls the experience "the best thing since YouTube," and Mariel likens it to no-bake cookie Wednesday at Cowan Dining Commons on campus: "I can't get enough of it. It's a rare but stupendous experience."

Check My CENTRE Life for updated journal entries, photos and videos throughout the year. To get off to a quick start, new entries will go up every week for the next three weeks. The first entries are reflections on summer vacation before the six freshmen arrived on campus.
