My CENTRE Life returns for Season 4—in full motion!

DANVILLE, KY—It's that time of year again, when first-year students explode onto Centre College's campus—doe-eyed and fresh, eager and anxious. Six students from the Class of 2012 have been selected to showcase the exciting first year of college as seen through their eyes as a part of My Centre Life. This year marks the beginning of the popular Web feature's fourth season, and brings a fundamental change to the experience—video.

Each of the participating students has been equipped with a digital video camera to document classes, sporting events, plays, personal thoughts, residence halls, campus life…and other aspects of Centre College. Audiences across the world can tune in online to scope out Centre as a possible college choice or look back and reminisce about their days as a Centre student.

As for the cast, that is—as always—a secret for the moment. In the meantime, though, readers can learn more about this year's cast through the following anonymous comments. Look for the MCL 4 cast to be revealed in September!

Your greatest apprehension about college:
"My first instinct here is to say 'communal bathrooms', but I suppose I'd have to say getting adjusted to college: meeting new people and making new friends, not to mention the harder classes and being away from home."

Person (living or dead) with whom you'd most like to have dinner. In addition, where would you go to eat or what would you cook for them?
"I would most definitely have dinner with Vincent Van Gogh just because he's my favorite artist ever! And I’m not a good cook; I can only make salads, cookies, and sandwiches. So, I think I would make him my favorite salad ever. Its ingredients are tomato, mozzarella buffalo cheese (I’m translating so I hope I’m not saying anything weird haha), palm heart, pesto, olive oil, and salt. It's really good, trust me! I think he'd like it… I hope!"

Favorite extracurricular activities:
"I’m big into golf, but I generally love all sports, watching and playing. I've also been extremely involved in tobacco control and prevention as well as student government. I like to hang out with my friends and pretend that I'm Bear Grylls from Discovery Channel's Man vs. Wild."

From where do you hail?
"Atlanta a.k.a. ATL a.k.a. Hotlanta a.k.a. A-Town a.k.a. The Durty Souf. It's a fun, energized city with just enough southern twang to make it perfect for me and my family. I mean, I drive by P. Diddy's house, Andre 3000 frequents our malls, my friend sold clothes to Usher...it’s all in a day's work."

If stranded on a deserted island, what would be the one non-survival item you'd want with you?
"Under the condition that the Island was wireless, and it was just like Lost, I would bring my laptop. However, if not, I would bring a Bed Bath and Beyond store, for the sole reason it has beds, baths, and beyond."

If given a million dollars to donate to an organization of your choosing, to what organization (for profit or not-for-profit) would you contribute it?
"We have a dress code at my high school. Every once in a while, we're allowed to pay a dollar for a 'dress-down' (denim-allowed) day. At the end of the year the lower school kids vote on which charity they’d like their dress-down money to go to. My third-grade brother voted for the one that built pipes to carry clean water to the villages in Africa. He was outvoted in favor of the animals at the zoo. I love the animals, but I’d have sided with my brother."
