Men's basketball team jumps to No. 2 in national poll

DANVILLE, KYThe Colonels rallied to defeat DePauw University this weekend 69-66 to improve to a 21-1 overall record and a 12-0 record in conference play. The team made school and conference history with their 21st-straight win.

The Colonels also jump to the No. 2 spot in the latest D3hoops.com Top-25 poll. The team stands at No. 1 in the D3hoops South Region poll.

Centre has not lost since a season-opening defeat to Rust College. The Colonels can complete the perfect conference season with wins at Ogelthorpe on Friday, Feb. 22 and at Sewanee on Saturday, Feb 24.
