Campus Center: Groundbreaking ceremony kicks off construction

DANVILLE, KY—Centre College celebrated the start of construction on the new campus center with a groundbreaking ceremony on Friday. Many from the Centre and local community turned out for the celebration. Actual construction on the campus center will begin shortly after Commencement.

The new campus center is only part of a dramatic series of expansion and renovation projects on campus to take place over the next three years. In addition to the construction of Pearl Hall and the campus center, these include an expansion and renovation of the College's science facilities and a refurbishment of the College's Norton Center for the Arts.
