Chowan: A closer look at Centre's newest addition

RELEASED: July 10, 2008

DANVILLE, KYWith the anticipation that built during the "Name the New Eatery" contest, faculty, staff, students and alumni were eager to catch their first glimpse of the temporary dining hall that was eventually named Chowan by vote of the student body. With the building's rapid construction over the summer months, many community members have not had the opportunity to experience the clean lines and industrial aesthetic that promise to be a hit this fall when Centre students return to campus. A selection of photos has been provided to whet appetites as many anticipate the moment they can see Chowan in person.

(Many of the photos in the slide show feature Governor's Scholars Program students "chowing down at Chowan." )
