My CENTRE Life: new entry brings saga up to date

DANVILLE, KY—As campus moves forward from midterms, fall break, and homecoming, six first-year students share their adventures involving those three events as they head into the second half of fall term.

Andrew’s midterm hangover consisted of waking from a dream about a cage fight between Socrates and Genghis Khan, who was “shouting something about derivatives in Spanish.”

All of the My CENTRE Lifers enjoyed fall break, especially Laura who took a drive to Florida with eight softball teammates, stopping near her home in Atlanta for brownies and walkie-talkies. She even shares a secret in her latest entry.

Brian says that homecoming was the best weekend he’s had on campus so far. “I spoke with so many different alumni that I didn’t feel like I was out of place.” He even met an alum from his hometown of Boston.
