Prospective students invited to summer at Centre programs in July

RELEASED: July 3, 2008

DANVILLE, KYCentre's admission staff invites prospective students to visit the campus in July for exciting and informative open houses.

"The Summer at Centre programs offer much more to our visitors than the standard tour, which is the norm during the summer," says Amy Dedman, assistant director of admission. "These enhanced programs will provide a snapshot of life at Centre for those students eager to explore the college in July. I know that the Summer at Centre programs will be informative and fun."

Enhanced summer visit days are planned for the last three Fridays in July. Prospective students will take a tour of campus led by a current Centre student; listen to a presentation of basic Centre information, as well as financial aid specifics; and learn first-hand about one of three programs:

Friday, July 11: Math, Science & Research
Friday, July 18: International Studies & Social Sciences
Friday, July 25: Visual & Performing Arts

Programs are set to start at 1 p.m. and run until 4:30 p.m.

The best way to learn about a college is to come to campus: explore the buildings, talk with students, meet professors and discover what makes Centre America’s best-value college (Consumers Digest). Participants may register at http://em.422x.com/centre/admission/ or by calling 1-800-423-6236.

Of course, prospective students are also welcome to visit for a tour and information session at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. or 3 p.m. any day this summer. Call to schedule, or sign up online using the above link.
