Great American Brass Band Festival comes to Centre's campus

DANVILLE, KY—Centre College is preparing to host the 20th anniversary of the Great American Brass Band Festival June 11 – 14. The highlights of this year’s activities include a hot air balloon race, a Chautauqua tea, a parade, and of course, continuous music by brass bands from around the country.

The nation’s foremost festival of brass band music, the GABBF regularly attracts 40 – 50, 000 visitors from around the world. Bands perform on three stages throughout the four-day festival, with the main stage located on Centre’s campus.
