YouTube video highlights The Centre Commitment RELEASED: May 27, 2009
DANVILLE, KY—Centre College's "Centre Commitment" is explained by students in a video on the YouTube channel The Centre Channel. The video, titled "What is the Centre Commitment?" focuses on the College's guarantee that any student who meets the College's social and academic requirements will have an internship, study abroad and graduate in four years. In the event a student is unable to realize the promises of the Centre Commitment within four consecutive years of enrollment, the College will provide up to an additional year of study tuition-free. The video draws on the talents of Vanna Milligan '09, Jeff Hortillosa '09, Hunter Hayes '10, Alwyn McLeod '11, Kristen Robinson '09 and Sarah Hargis '10, who spell out the terms of The Centre Commitment in a fresh and lighthearted manner.
