DANVILLE, KY—Time is running out to submit photos for Centre College's annual "Coolest Picture of the Summer" contest!

Whether they're backpacking across Europe, completing internships in state-of-the-art hospitals, participating in mission trips to impoverished areas, or leading activities at summer camps, Centre students spend summers their doing fascinating things.

And the Communications Office wants to see the pictures.

Centre students, including incoming and transfer students, are encouraged to submit their photos for the "Coolest Picture of the Summer" contest. The contestant whose photo best embodies the true essence of summer will receive a $50 gift card, and the first, second, and third place winners will have their photos displayed at The Hub Coffee House for all to enjoy.

We're looking for photos that show the extraordinary experiences Centre students have during their summers—conducting interesting chemistry experiments, climbing the Eifel Tower, shaking hands with gorillas, or performing a rain dance on a Native American reservation.

Send digital pictures via e-mail to Chris Floyd at chris.floyd@centre.edu. Be sure to identify everyone in the picture and include a brief description of what's happening. Make sure pictures are at least 300 dpi. (The higher the resolution the better.)

Submissions are due by August 20.
