DANVILLE, KY—As always, Centre College students spent the summer doing remarkable things. Some spent their vacations in the
tropics, while others traveled through Europe or studied wildlife with fellow researchers.

Many outstanding photographs were taken to capture these activities, and one has emerged as the coolest picture of the summer.
First place in Centre's annual contest went to Will Jenkins '10 and Whitney Sears '10, for their panoramic image of a relaxing moment
on Guana Island.

Kristen Baumgartner's ('11) photo of the bohemian scene of Paris took second place, and Amanda Glueck '10 placed third, with
a photo of her receiving a kiss from a five-year-old dolphin, Anthony.

Jenkins and Sears, whose photo best embodies the true essence of summer, will receive a $50 gift card. Their winning photo, as well
as those submitted by Baumgartner and Glueck, will be displayed at The Hub Coffee House in Danville for all to enjoy.
