DANVILLE, KY2009 was a year of excitement and change at Centre College. From the opening of the magnificent new Campus Center to the "Centre's Your Passport" initiative to the release of the most complete history of the College ever, the year was anything but ordinary.

Last year, Centre held the first Web Story Awards, and this year, the contest is back. Below are 10 of the most newsworthy and intriguing stories of the year (in chronological order). But because new Web stories are posted every Thursday, 52 weeks a year, there are many more to choose from (and you can vote for any of them). To check out all the stories from 2009, click here.
