Mike, a native of
McKee, Ky., has been at Centre since 1980. He received a B.A. and M.A. in
English (1970, 1972) from Eastern Kentucky University and did additional
graduate work at the University of South Carolina. Prior to Centre, he taught
English at the high school and college levels, and managed the design department
at Policy Management, Inc. He enjoys songwriting, playing guitar, singing, and
recording with GarageBand. |

Chris Floyd, a native of Danville, is a freelance photographer who has worked at Centre since 2005. He attended Eastern Kentucky University, and has a wonderful wife, Tami, and two daughters, Megan and Karly. |

Leigh, a native
of Cookeville, Tenn., began working at Centre in July 2009. A Centre
alum and 2008 female valedictorian, she received a B.A. in English. Before
returning to Centre as a staff member, Leigh served as the corporate
communications intern for Southern Progress Corporation, the Time Inc.
subsidiary that publishes Southern Living, Cooking Light, and Coastal
Living magazines. She enjoys cooking, traveling,
water skiing, tennis, and reading.

Diane has been a college writer and editor for more than 20 years, most of them at Centre. She graduated with distinction from the history honors program at the University of Virginia. Like Sherlock Holmes, it is a hobby of hers “to have an exact knowledge of London.” |

Mary Kay, a
native of Danville, Ky., has been at Centre since 2000. She resides in Danville
and enjoys movies, reading, gardening, and spending time with friends. |

Cindy Long

Cindy has worked at Centre since 2001. She holds a B.A. in journalism from
Indiana University and is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. She and her
husband Mark have three children—Hunter, Conner, and Madison—a black
lab named Joe, and two cats, Cuddles and Cocoa. Cindy enjoys working in their
summer garden, baking, and traveling with Mark on their Harleys.

Abby, a native of
Ashland, Ky., has been at Centre since 2006. She received a B.A. in English and
journalism (2005) from Morehead State University, and an M.S. in publishing
(2007) from Pace University in New York. Prior to Centre, Abby worked at Thirteen/WNET, the
flagship public television station of the New York City tri-state area. She
enjoys yoga, volunteering at the Danville-Boyle County
Humane Society, and spontaneous road trips.

Mike came to Centre from Hanover College, where he served as the pitching coach for three years. A 1999 graduate of the University of Dayton, Mike pitched for the Flyers and was a team captain his senior year. After graduating, he served two seasons as an assistant coach at Dayton working primarily with the outfielders. A native of Watsontown, Pa., Mike grew up only 15 minutes from Williamsport, Pa., home of the Little League World Series. |

Originally from
Pittsburgh, Pa., John moved to
Danville in 2003 and worked as a web design consultant before joining the staff
at Centre in 2008. He has a B.S. degree in computer science from the University
of Pittsburgh, where he held several jobs over the years. John also worked
various computer-related positions at a healthcare company for 17 years. In his
spare time, he enjoys creating artwork, cooking,
songwriting, and playing piano. |

Phnomphone (Paul) is a native of Laos and has lived in Australia, Thailand, and France. He has worked at Centre since
2002. He received a B.S.
in industrial arts technology and management with a minor in art (1984) from Berea College. Phnomphone has
worked in research and development/engineering and in various printing
companies in prepress and graphic design. In his spare time he enjoys playing
guitar, water and winter sports, painting, and tennis.

Tom, a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, has been at Centre since 1993. Prior to
Centre, Tom worked at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center Office
of Medical Communications. He received a B.F.A. from the University of Kentucky in
1991. He likes piña coladas and getting caught in the rain.
