All text, graphics, and photographs on Centre College's Web site are copyrighted and/or trademarked by Centre College, Danville, Kentucky. Redistribution or commercial use is prohibited without express written permission. For information regarding usage, see below.

Use of Logos

Centre College's Communications Office strongly encourages use of the Centre logotype to identify Web pages maintained by Centre College's academic programs, departments, and offices.

Trademarks, and Licensed Graphics

Logos and graphics relating to the College are subject to licensing agreements. If you have questions about legal use of these items, contact the Communications Office at (859) 238-5714.

Shane Wilson, Coordinator of Network Services, is the agent designated to respond to reports alleging copyright infringements on Centre College's Web site, in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Any such allegations should be sent to abuse@centre.edu. The Digital Millenium Copyright Act specifies that all infringement claims must be in writing (either electronic mail or paper letter) and must include the following elements:

     1. a physical or electronic signature

     2. identification of the infringed work

     3. identification of the infringed material

     4. contact information for the complainant, e.g., address, phone number, e-mail address

     5. a statement that the complaining party has a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner or the law

     6. a statement that the information contained in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
