Fact Sheet #3: Centre's Debate Committees

Centre College President John Roush has appointed two committees to oversee preparations for the debate. The debate Host Committee brings together elected officials and civic leaders who will periodically meet with college officials to discuss resources external to the campus, including services that may be provided by the Kentucky Department of Tourism, the Kentucky State Police, and the Governor's Office. The debate Steering Committee brings together college employees whose job assignments give them direct responsibility for various aspects of the debate; a student intern also meets with the committees.
