Fact Sheet #7: "Debate Centre" and Logo

"Debate Centre"
Centre has designated the Pottinger Room in Old Centre as "debate centre" for the campus. The room, which is conveniently located on the main floor just inside the building's front entrance, will serve as a visual reminder of preparations for the debate. The room features pictures of the two Centre alumni who served as U.S. Vice President, along with the debate logo. Additional memorabilia and other items will be added during the weeks of debate preparation. In early summer, the college office of information technology services established an electronic guest book in the room.

The Logo
The debate logo was designed and produced by staff artists in the Centre College Communications Office -- John Campbell and Tom Sturgeon. The college is using the logo on banners, letterhead, buttons, and official communications about the debate.
