Media Hall for the V.P. Debate
Location:
Sutcliffe Hall (athletic center) across College Street from the debate hall.
Hours of operation (subject to change):
8 a.m.-midnight Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 4-5.
Credentials:
No admittance without official debate credential issued by the U.S. Senate Press Gallery.
Parking:
Ample parking available at designated off-campus locations, with shuttle service direct to the media hall. Limited campus parking available for media representatives; parking pass required.
Media hall:
Work stations available to journalists credentialed by Senate Press Gallery. The Gallery reserves right to assign specific work locations. Each work station may include desk space and chair, electrical power (duplex outlet, 110 amp), and single phone jack. (Phone line must be activated by direct request to BellSouth, with credit card authorization. All charges billed back to media.) A business center in the media hall will feature credit-card pay phones, high-speed copier, fax machine, and telephone customer service desk (BellSouth).

Telephone service:
Phone lines are activated only upon direct request and payment authorization to BellSouth. Contact BellSouth Business Systems at 1-800-501-7599. BellSouth also can offer ISDN lines and Internet connections including T-1 lines and 100mb direct-drop connections.
Staffing:
The media hall will operate under the direction of the Senate Press Gallery and the Commission on Presidential Debates. Centre liaison for the media hall will be Patsi Barnes Trollinger from the college Communications Office.
