Unconventional Education
“Teach-Ins” offer students a different approach to learning

Reminiscent of the 1960s, Centre College will offer students—as well as the public—a chance to learn about hot topics in this year’s election outside the traditional setting of the classroom. With a strong commitment to education, Centre is excited to offer teach-ins as supplemental educational opportunities to the debate for students and campus visitors. Centre professors have chosen topics central to the 2000 election.

Commitment to Education

Centre’s highest priority in hosting a national debate always has been to create a learning experience for Centre students and the community. And, as plans finalize, Centre remains committed to educating students of all ages about the political process through the debate experience. In the true spirit of education, Centre offers the following teach-ins.
