Meet Me at Centre
This photo was taken on March 1, 2008, the day of Meike Lie and Javier Abrego's wedding in Pamplona, Spain. From left to right: Kelly Moore (N. Ireland), Mai Sugino (Japan), Meike Lie '02 (Indonesia), Javier Abrego (Spain) and Frank Hester '02 (USA)…and they all met at Centre College.
Moore and Sugino were exchange students, Abrego served as a Spanish language assistant for a year, and Lie was a fulltime student from Indonesia who graduated from Centre with Frank Hester in 2002. They all stayed in touch for seven years, even after returning to their respective countries, and were reunited in Spain at Lie and Abrego's wedding.

Welcome to the Photo | Video of the Week. Each week, the Communications Office chooses a photo or video that exemplifies some aspect of life at Centre.
Photo submissions. To submit a photo for consideration on this page e-mail Adam Brown at adam.brown@centre.edu with "POW" as the subject, or send a photograph through campus mail to his attention. Be sure to identify the people, location, and event. Any photos relating to the Centre experience, whether taken on campus or off campus may be submitted. And remember, the more dynamic and original the shot, the better. If you're sending a digital photo, be sure to send the picture at the highest resolution possible.
Video submissions. To submit a video for consideration on this page send a CD with your video in Quicktime format to Adam Brown through campus mail. The video must be between 30 and 60 seconds at the highest resolution possible, and can either be raw footage or edited. Remember, the more dynamic and interesting the clip, the better.
